Annual General Meeting 2021
The annual AGM was successfully held on 1st December 2021 at the City View Hotel. We are very glad to have 108 members attended our meeting.
Hong Kong education sector experienced a lot of changes and challenges in 2020-21 and our Chairman, Mr. Lin Chun Pong reported the hard work done by the Association this year. Our work reflected our dedication to walk alongside with all principals in Hong Kong in this arduous time.
The first part of our AGM drew to a close with four principals elected as members for the new Executive Committee. The second part of the AGM featured a presentation by Professor Ho Sui Chu, Esther, Director of the Hong Kong Centre for International Student Assessment at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and she reported survey results on “Student Withdrawls from School and Teacher Turnover”, a research collaborated with HKAHSS. Our Keynote Speech for the day was a timely and inspiring discussion by Professor Mok Ka Ho Joshua, Vice President of the Lingnan University with the Honourable Bernard Charnwut Chan, Convener of the non-official members of the Executive Council. Their exchanges were a “Colloquy on Education: Opportunities and Challenges”.
